Today I’m thrilled to be showing off Matt & Claire’s beautifully elegant Richmond wedding! These two lovely people met while attending Union Presbyterian Seminary here in the city, and it was only fitting for their special day to be held on campus, surrounded by all of the people that have been closest to them throughout their love story. The whole day felt like one big family rallying around Matt & Claire to celebrate with them, and I think that’s exactly what a wedding day should feel like!

I absolutely love Claire’s classic lace gown. You may remember it from her bridal session (in which she looked stunnnning).

Even though we already did a whole bridal portrait session, I couldn’t help but take more of her. She’s just such a beautiful bride!

I loved all of the bridesmaid dresses, too. So cute and classic!

This group of guys had a LOT of personality. And it definitely came through during portrait time. :)

It’s always sweet when the bride and groom write each other letters to read before the ceremony. Just something so special about it.

They wanted to see each other before the ceremony without seeing each other. So, they grabbed a quick hand squeeze and helped calm their nerves before the ceremony started.

Claire’s dad owned the BEST get-away car!

And of course the car made for fabulous portraits! I love alllll of these.

We got some perfect golden sun, too! Sooo lovely. Matt & Claire were sooo easy to photograph together.

The reception was held at the always-beautiful Main Street train station, where Claire had her bridal portraits done. It made for the perfect elegant party location!

It was DEFINITELY a dancing crowd, which always makes my job so much fun!

Mega congratulations, Matt & Claire! And thank you again for allowing me to capture your special day – it was such a blast being there! HAPPY WEEKEND, everyone! :)
