One of my favorite things about Virginia is how many beautiful vineyards and wineries there are throughout the state. I’ve had the chance to shoot at several locations in Northern VA, so I was excited to add another gorgeous vineyard to my list when I did Amy & Matt’s engagement session at Sunset Hills Vineyard this past Fall. It was a brisk day, but couldn’t have photographed more beautifully. Amy & Matt were laid back, fun and easy-going – making my job easy. They’ve been together since meeting in Spanish class at Longwood University a few years ago, and clearly adore each other, which is always delightful to see. We had ourselves a great time, and I’m excited to share some of my favorites!

Aren’t golden Fall days just the best? I always find them so inspiring, and of course gorgeous locations certainly help. Can’t wait for Amy & Matt’s Richmond wedding in October!
