So, you know what’s crazy? I’ve never gone to Texas for a wedding before, but today I’m flying out for my SECOND wedding in that state within two weeks! I’m shooting the one this weekend (first wedding of the season, yay!) but two weeks ago I got to go to Dallas to just BE part of my dear friend’s big day. Bryn has been one of the most special people in my life since 2005 when we first got to know each other. I’ve always had this amazing heart connection with her that allows us to live states apart, and go years without seeing each other (not that we LIKE it), but always pick right back up where we left off. Friends like that are so precious to me. Bryn was the first friend I ever told that I liked this guy named Aaron Watson (way, WAY before I ever knew if he liked me, and 2+ years before we started dating), the one who cheered me on from the first time I ever mentioned that I was going to pursue photography, and one of the most proud when I started drinking coffee instead of just tea. ;) She stood up with me on my wedding day, and it was a true joy to get to celebrate with her, in return. I couldn’t be more happy for the amazing guy that is now in her life! It was a seriously wonderful weekend and while I wasn’t tasked with any sort of official photo-taking, I had to snap SOME. So, enjoy some of my favorites. :)

It could not have been a more fabulous weekend of joy and celebration. It’s so exciting to see people you love get married, and such a fun treat to get to be part of a wedding day from the other side. :) But now I’m SUPER thrilled to be shooting the wedding of a long time TeenPact friend tomorrow in El Paso, so stay tuned on Monday for sneak peeks…. :)
