Ever since seeing this inspiration photo, I’ve been on the lookout for fun, colorful abstract patterns that can be dressed up, but keep an element of fun and edginess in an outfit. I love the multi-colored floral pattern of her’s, but when I saw this blue dress at Target it accomplished a similar look in my mind (AND was perfect for shooting weddings – so, win/win!). It has quickly become a favorite multi-purpose dress in my Spring/Summer wardrobe!

Since my dress wasn’t as multi-colored, I chose to bring in an extra pop with the colored heels. And coral is always a welcome addition, in my opinion.

How do you feel about abstract prints for clothes? I know for some they’re just not appealing (kind of like zebra print for me….), but I’m loving this dress in my wardrobe!
