I’m so excited to share with you this sweet engagement session from a few weeks ago. Alicia & Steve were SUPER dedicated and drove all the way to Richmond from Northern VA for a sunrise shoot, due to working around flight schedules and my availability. So, not only did they have to start out the day at like 3:00 am, but they showed up bright eyed and bushy tailed and couldn’t have been more adorable or easy to photograph! We had so much fun wandering around Richmond together in spite of the early hour, and it’s evident that these two seriously adore each other.

Their relationship story is pretty fantastic, and one of the ways Alicia was first drawn to Steve was when she realized he knew of one of her favorite bands (that isn’t super well known), Jenny & Tyler. One of her favorite songs by them is Little Balloon, and Steve pulled off an amazing surprise proposal (involving a red balloon). So, it was only fitting to do a few shots with a fun red balloon, as well!

They both also love photography, and since they had some great vintage cameras we definitely had to grab a few shots with those, too!

Aren’t they just the cutest? They have great style and were just so much fun to photograph. So excited for their big day in November!
