Amy and Cameron had gorgeous weather for their wedding this past May, and a perfect location at Rippon Lodge in Woodbridge, VA. I loved the old buildings around the grounds that gave a sense of history to the day, and it was the perfect backdrop for their mint green and pale yellow colors and DIY details. Furthermore, it was a day to celebrate them no longer having to be long distance! Cameron had been stationed in Alaska (where they now both live!) and they toughed out the distance for a long time, so you could sense the excitement of finally bringing that chapter to an end. And as someone who did long distance for dating and engagement, I can more than relate!
They opted for a First Look, which I always love, and their’s was so sweet!
Aren’t they the cutest?! I love the gray suit and the pretty light blue and mint details in her flowers and shoes. Such a perfect color combination for Spring!
I LOVED the different bridesmaid dresses and how pretty each of them looked with the simple bouquets.
These hats were Cameron’s gift to his groomsmen, so we wanted to come up with a cool way to incorporate them into a couple photos.
Officially married!
Such a fun, sweet day of joy and celebration and I’m so honored I got to be there to capture it all!
