One of the things I love most about being a photographer and blogger is that I get to collaborate with other talented people. It’s especially cool to show off friends who are doing fun and creative things, and in this case it’s my friend Ashley who has a little corner of the internet called Attempts At Domestication. She’s been blogging for 2 years, now, (three cheers for her recent blogiversary!) and specializes in fun DIY house projects, recipes & other tidbits of home-owning life. She needed some updated head shots for use on her blog, so a couple months ago Aaron and I went over for dinner (her and her husband Jesse are two of our really good friends) and we worked in a mini-shoot. :)

This chair is actually one of the projects she has done!

Since Ashley does most of her blogging from the comfort of her room (yay for laptops!) we wanted to grab a few shots of her in her natural environment.

And it wouldn’t have been complete without grabbing just a couple of her and Jesse together, as well (much to his dismay).

I’m so thankful for Ashley as a friend, and I always love seeing what project(s) she’s working on. Her and Jesse are definitely motivated home-owners and their drive always gives me inspiration to keep making progress on my own house.
