Holiday Round-Up

12/16/13

cannot believe Christmas is next week, already! It’s absolutely insane how fast the holidays fly by once they start. But since my office feels like Santa’s workshop this week, trying to finish up all sorts of work and gift-sending before heading to Florida on Friday (to do Christmas with the in-laws) I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite things from this season. Last year I shared some decorative things I found on Pinterest and was wanting to try, this year it’s a little more miscellaneous. But they’re all such happy things!

Christmas Round-Up Favorite Things_0001.jpg

1) I’m loving this cute iPhone background that the amazing Korie Lynn of The Weekend Type is giving away for all to enjoy!
2) This fun deer silhouette printable is gracing a little side table in our dining room, and I’ve been quite enjoying it.
3) These eggnog cookies from Heart Love Weddings are my favorite new recipe that I tried this season. I never would have guessed I’d like eggnog or eggnog flavored cookies (it’s actually really subtle in the cookies) but they’re so good and were a hit when I took them to a Christmas party.
4) Just picked up this fun, classic black dress from H&M on sale and really enjoyed wearing it (with red tights & a gold necklace) to a party on Saturday. Definitely a great addition to my wardrobe, super versatile and always appropriate for holiday parties.
5) This vintage coloring book that my Mom got me last year (if you don’t know, my family has a Christmas coloring tradition) has quickly become one of my favorites. The pictures are perfect, and it just makes my heart happy.
6) These free printable gift tags have been making my packages look lovely, this year.
7) I’ve just been dying over this cute antler necklace from Contrary (as well as pretty much everything else from her shop) and have loved shopping from local Richmond vendors for much of my Christmas giving this year.

It’s such a fun time of year, and there is so much enjoyment to be had. I love finding pleasure in the small things, and I hope you’ve all been finding daily joy as you celebrate the holidays, so far, as well. What are some of the things you’re loving most this season?
