Wardrobe Wednesday | Spring Maxi Skirt

5/07/14

I really love the details in today’s look. The lace/crocheted shirt, with the long skirt, detailed belt and fun glasses + necklace to accessorize. The items in my wardrobe were a little bit different in color/style, but I was able to achieve a really similar look that I love just as much. It’s just hard to go wrong with such simple pieces, and they come together to make a beautiful outfit perfect for just about any occasion.

This skirt is seriously one of my favorite items in my whole wardrobe. So comfortable and I’ve been able to pair it with so many different shirts and accessories. I really love it with this patterned belt, even though I wouldn’t have originally thought to put them together.

This pretty necklace was a gift from a dear friend for being in her wedding, and I love it so much. Much more delicate and subtle than a lot of the jewelry I have, and as a bonus, I think of her whenever I wear it!

Skirt: Old Navy, $7 | Shirt: American Eagle (long time ago) | Shoes: Charlotte Russe, $19 | Belt: Thrifted, $3 | Sunglasses: Target, $12 | Necklace: Gift from a friend

What ways do you like to mix patterns between clothing and accessories? Isn’t itĀ fun to feel like you have endless options within your own closet just by mixing up how you put things together?

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
