When it comes to easy and comfy outfits in the 3rd trimester, I’ve found that having just one or two really long tanks allow you to layer and make a lot of non-maternity shirts continue to work. And such is the case with today’s look! I love the high-low striped shirt, but mine was definitely not coming long enough to cover the belly fully, at this point. So when I came across this inspiration photo, I realized putting a tank top with it instantly fixes that problem, and who doesn’t like the look of layers? It’s easy and a really great go-to outfit when you want to still look cute, but (let’s face it) are mostly just thinking about being comfortable. Win/win!

I love the look of the cuffed jeans with the ankle boots, but you could easily do loafers or sandals of some sort, as well. Lots of ways to customize this look to your own style preference!
Shirt: Marshall’s, $7 | Jeans: Jessica Simpson from Motherhood Maternity, $50 | Long Tank: Non-Maternity basic from H&M, $5 | Boots: Plato’s Closet, $16 | Necklace & Earrings: Were my Mom’s
Seriously, pregnant or not, do yourself a favor and pick up one or two of these amazing tank tops from H&M and they offer so many possibilities when it comes to layering, as well as being SUPER comfortable!
Happy wardrobing, friends!
Cute outfit! I can’t believe you found that striped top at Marshall’s for only $7–I love the unconventional hem and how it accentuates your bump.
