I cannot get over my love for simple outfits paired with favorite denim pieces, lately. With some birthday money I snagged this great vintage Anne Taylor skirt from one of my favorite local spots, and had been dreaming of finding some perfect crop tops to wear with it this summer. Enter, Tobi! If you saw my last Wardrobe Wednesday then you remember that I got the chance for a fun collaboration with the online shop Tobi, and they had the PERFECT black crochet hem crop top. I was so excited to get it to try out and instantly loved it with both of my favorite denim skirts, and high-waisted shorts. So today’s look is one I foresee wearing lots this Summer!

As always, my Fawn Design diaper bag goes perfectly with this outfit. It’s seriously been the best purchase and I get compliments on it all the time. I love that I can be practical and carry all the stuff I need for Llewyn, while not sacrificing style! Win/win!
Total confession, for the longest time I never gave the idea of a “crop top” any thought for myself because I just thought of them as “belly showing” and I’m not really into that. But when worn with a high-waisted skirt or shorts, they hit at the perfect place so as not to have to tuck a shirt in, while also not actually showing off the tummy. A little bit here and there with movement doesn’t bother me, and actually allows for a really nice, cool outfit during the hot summer months.
