Two things that never grow old in my pursuit of style creativity: 1) black & white stripes (duh), and 2) items of clothes that can be worn multiple ways, thus adding versatility to my wardrobe. This dress from Tobi could definitely be worn with heels and a clutch for a date night out, but as soon as I saw it I envisioned it layered and worn more casually – which I think it does perfectly! So that leads to today’s outfit (naturally).

Style tip: Whenever you’re feeling low on inspiration as you fling open those closet doors and stare blankly at the clothes in front of you, just ask yourself if there’s anything you can wear other than how it’s originally intended. A skirt as a dress, a dress with a shirt over it so it looks like a skirt, a long sweater as a dress (with leggings or tights), etc. Switching things up can be one of the most fun ways to be creative with the items you already own and bring new life to older pieces.
