Guys, I will probably never fully achieve a capsule or minimalist wardrobe, but believe it or not I’m trying to get closer to that as the months go by. Mainly, trying to continue to be realistic with myself about what I actually wear, enjoy and feel great in right now – and be willing to let the other things go. Right now, I feel great in a lot of staple, basic pieces put together with a little flair. I wear my different denim/chambray shirts a ton, and these higher waisted black jeans are my go-to. So it’s perfect when I can throw on a unique handmade scarf and a simple piece or two of jewelry, add my favorite ankle boots and VOILA, I have an outfit that is easy, comfortable and still unique.

You’ve heard me gush about New Humans before, but I cannot say enough. This scarf is an absolute favorite, it’s the first I’ve ever had in a shape like this. Not only do I love the look stylistically, but it’s seriously SO warm! It goes so nicely under my coat and it’s so thick and fabulous, but also still “shapeable” to get to lay the way you want. Shannon’s work is top notch and I just love so much that she gives back with each purchase. Get get yourself one of her amazing pieces to enjoy for the rest of winter!
