Sometimes, okay, a LOT of times when pregnant you just want to be comfortable. Especially in JULY when it’s frequently, oh, 95 degrees and sooo humid. So the idea of wide legged, elastic-waisted pants is reeeeeally appealing (I mean, hello feeling like you’re wearing PJ’s all day!). And the best part is that you can buy non-maternity pants in this style that will work post-pregnancy, too!

When I saw these at Target I knew they’d be the perfect pair to add to my maternity Summer style. The pattern makes them easy to dress up or down, but the simple colors still make it versatile and easy to mix with multiple solid colored shirts and tanks and they are so lightweight and airy, which makes them perfect for the hot weather.
I love them with the slight heel for an easy but still comfy look for church, client meetings or a date night. But I often wear them with my flat sandals, a black or gray tank top and my hair thrown up in a top knot, as well. Also, officially obsessed with this tank top as I love that the neckline gives it just that little bit of flare to make it feel more interesting even when you’re just wearing a tank top & skirt or pants sort of outfit. Simple pieces with a unique aspect are one of the best things you can work into your wardrobe because they’re still so versatile, but give you that little bit of edge to feel on-trend. Win/win!

So who else is loving these wide-leg comfy pants for Summer?? Pregnant or not, I love the boho vibe (and the feeling of being in PJ’s while looking way cuter ;).
