It has been ages since I did a style post including my baby girl – in fact, Margot was just 3 months in the last one, and she’s now 16 months! The time has flown like crazy. But lest anyone be unsure if I still enjoy occasionally coordinating with my littles….I certainly do. It’s not the same as the matchy-matchy concept from my childhood, but I get a kick out of complimentary outfits with Margot and even Llewyn – as if I’m living my life ever-ready for a photo shoot, apparently. Hah!
Layering a shirt under a sleeveless dress is one of my favorite ways to keep wearing warmer-weather items even in the colder months. This semi-sheer floral blouse works great under this silky dress (with pockets!) and the color combination with the pop of Margot’s fun little romper made me happy. All the Fall color tones for me, always!
With longer hair these days, I love the always-available option of putting my hair up or back when it’s not cooperating or *cough* on like day 4 or 5 of dry shampoo. Even if thisĀ does show off my rapidly-increasing gray hairs a bit too prominently…

Anyone else into layering lighter pieces so you can still wear them in the Winter months? What’s your favorite way to do that?
