Wardrobe Wednesday | Boho Style Mama & Baby Girl

2/07/18

Excited to be doing my first Wardrobe Wednesday featuring a current favorite look with the help of my baby girl! It made me all nostalgic to look back on the first one I ever did with Llewyn right at the same age, which is fun. (How different is my hair now, though, right?! Postpartum hormones are crazy things…)

This shirt of Margot’s is one of my favorite pieces of her’s right now, and this cozy sweater of mine has been a favorite on the chilly-but-not-freezing Winter days since it’s cuter than a coat, but still nice and warm. And it just worked out nicely that they coordinate so well!

This tank is another favorite piece from Latched Mama. Like the cardigan I featured previously, it’s listed under their lounge section, but it’s really such a multi-purpose piece. It’s nice and long which make it really flattering and comfortable and it’s just enough detail with the petal-front to feel interesting while still being a really simple piece that can go with a lot. This tank with these jeans (which, let’s be honest, are actually jeggings) have been a staple since having Margot with different cardigans and accessories paired to mix it up. Easy way to feel cute and put together but still super comfortable!

Sweater: TJ Maxx (or one of those other similar stores) snagged for just $9! | Jeans: Rockstar Jeggings from Old Navy | Booties: Dillard’s | Margot’s Shirt: Carter’s brand via Kohl’s | Headband: Loved by Sophia Claire | Shoes: MiniMocs

While I hope to stay away from the campiness of Mother-daughter matching outfits of the 90’s (though I look back on that part of my childhood fondly ;) I must admit, cheesy as it is, that I enjoy coordinating with my kiddos now and then. I guess it’s just fun to get to style my mini-me’s while I can because I know all-too-soon they’ll have opinions of their own. So until then…. ;)

Anyone else (intentionally or otherwise) enjoy coordinating with your littles sometimes? Or at least gravitating to similar colors for them as you do for yourself?
