Guys, I LOVE an easy-yet-chic Summer look so much. When it comes to being ready for Church, or a baby shower, or coffee with a friend, I definitely want to feel cute, but man-oh-man in the Virginia Summer heat I also want to be COMFY. Maxi skirts and midi dresses are such an easy way to accomplish the comfort factor, and simple tops in dark colors (which hide sweat better ;) that can pair with a lot of things are such a win. This vintage Ann Taylor mock-turtle neck tank that I scored on Poshmark has been a huge favorite.

Adding a great bag (that can be worn 3 different ways!) and of course some fun earrings, and you’ve taken a comfy outfit to the next level and also kept it versatile and easy for any number of occasions. This Sseko Designs convertible leather tote has been one of the BEST investment pieces in my wardrobe. It’s beautiful AND functional and that is the always a win!

Can we talk about mules for a second? These small heeled ones are SUCH a great way to dress up an outfit because they’re so comfortable and super easy to walk in, and an easy slip-on option yet instantly makes me feel more dressed up and put together. These are a cheap option from Target that are surprisingly comfortable, but of course there are a ton of quality brands out there with options that will last for a long time and be higher quality investment wardrobe pieces.
