I’m so excited to be showing off Marty & Val’s elegant and super fun New Year’s Eve wedding at The Jefferson hotel in Richmond. In almost 12 years of shooting weddings I’d never actually shot one on New Year’s Eve before, so it was a fun and new experience. To add to that, it was also Marty’s birthday! Talk about a special date for them. I love that it worked out to combine so many monumental occasions into one day for them.
Working with Marty & Val was such a treat. They are so low-key and down to earth, and so clearly not only love each other, but have fun together. Their day was marked by stunning gowns and snazzy suits, for sure, but most of all my such truly joyful celebration of them as individuals, and together as a couple. Couldn’t have loved capturing this gorgeous day more and hope you enjoy this peek into it!
Isn’t Marty’s sparkly blush Lazaro gown just the perfect pick for a New Year’s Eve wedding?! It looked so regal and elegant!
There was an extra-fun vibe capturing dancing photos as the clock struck midnight and we entered into 2020. So much hugging and laughing and celebrating and I loved it!
What a fun day, right?! Thanks to all the other stellar vendors that made it a success and biggest thanks to Marty & Val for allowing me to capture your special day!
