It is hard to believe we are t-minus 4 (or so) weeks until this baby boy arrives! In honor of that, I wanted to share some of my maternity session from a few weeks ago with my dear pal, Rebekah Murray. She has been documenting special moments in my life for over a decade now…from engagement to wedding, multiple head shot sessions, additional bridal portraits, and Llewyn’s maternity shoot not to mention the other random ones in between….to now my 3rd maternity session with very possibly my last baby. I cherish her friendship AND the images she’s created from so many special seasons and these are no exception.

Being pregnant during this COVID pandemic has been a challenge and, at times, stolen joy and added anxiety. But this (socially isolated) shoot with such a good friend, on a perfectly overcast evening out at beautiful and peaceful Ballenger Farm was such a refresher to my soul and an excuse to take a breath, and focus on the JOY of the sweet baby boy growing inside of me. I would have loved to have Aaron, Llewyn & Margot part of it, as well, but given the circumstances it seemed better and easier to have just me for it….and even that little breather during a time of so much at-home-ness was a gift. Here are several of my favorites in the fun Christy Dawn dress that my belly nearly didn’t fit in by time the shoot rolled around….hah!
