Could not be more excited to kick off my 2019 posts with one of my FAVORITE shoots of last year – and to date – with the best group of vendors.

My idea for this shoot was that not EVERY couple wants an over-the-top, expensive, large wedding event. But that even for those who may want to sneak off and elope, there can still be style, thought and intention for their special day. We pictured a couple who is modern, minimalist, (definitely shops at Madewell), lovers of style and have a touch of whimsy. Who love pastries and coffee more than cake, and locations that are reminiscent of the charm of Europe. That they’d want to celebrate their wedding by enjoying things they already love as a couple. This made us think of Murray Hill which is the perfect little escape in the middle of the beautiful countryside in Northern Virginia. My girls over at Tart Event Co. helped make this vision come to life, along with the most amazingly neutral and textured florals from Lori at Wild Green Yonder. It was such a happy day and I hope you enjoy what we created together as much as we do!
