Wardrobe Wednesday | Flower Picking Style with Virginia Dare Dress Co.

8/15/18

A couple weeks ago the kiddos and I had the loveliest time thanks to my dear friends over at Virginia Dare Dress Co. They threw a fun flower-picking and pastry-eating afternoon for any local customers to get together and enjoy making some beautiful memories + new friends. And it was perfection. I have 3 dresses and now 1 top from the VDDCo. collection and I adore every single piece. Since I’ve been especially enamored with my Sara blouse lately, I decided to style a look fit for perusing the flower fields and chasing a toddler alike!

This top is so, so comfortable and so versatile. In all honesty, I’ve never been a big peplum girl because they’ve never hit my waist and hips quite right. But they designed this with exactly that in mind – a more thoughtful, flattering peplum for all figure types! And the best part, in my opinion, is that it’s just a tad longer in the back giving it great bum coverage which I’m a definite fan of! I LOVE it paired with my favorite cropped skinny jeans, but I also loved it with these lightweight rayon pants, cuffed at the bottom, everyday sandals thrown on & a vintage scarf in the hair for good measure. So great for an adventure like this, or running errands, or even a photoshoot.

And if you have a sweet little girl in your life, VDDCo. offers these adorable wrap headbands, now! Loved trying it on Margot having and a little mama-daughter headband action going on. ;)

Just the loveliest day, with the loveliest people and prettiest outfits. Thanks to VDDCo. for being the perfect host and Fields of Flowers for being such a gorgeous property. I can’t wait to go back for future flower picking outings!
